Heading to the 'Chi this afternoon....

I'm looking forward to getting up river today! I'm heading up with a few pals to do some work in the woods and we might even get out for a fish at some point. Dad and the crew are heading to the Den as well, they will be chasing silver for most of the trip.

I noticed how popular my last entry about shale gas was. It has more hits quicker than any other post to date. I'm taking that as a positive, and I'm hoping a few visitors are informing themselves about this controversial topic ... hydraulic fracking is a truly horrific process and people really do need to unite against this method of gas extraction...

If there's anything interesting to report this weekend I'll try to fire up a couple posts. And thanks everyone for reading my blog, i'm working on a little idea to show my appreciation which I'll reveal in the next few weeks, so stay tuned!
