I set my trailcam up a few weeks ago with hopes to catch the ice run. I managed to catch a few cool pictures so here they are!

Last ice update for the weekend.. 4/19/2015

After a long shift of ice watch, the boys have headed south for home. Here are a few pictures from their trip home this morning ...

In front of the camp before departure:

In spite of all the great progress there's still massive amounts of dangerous ice left to run so if you're around the water at all please use your common sense and always err on the side of caution... mother nature is running the show and she can be deadly!

It looks like our next trip up will involve some fishing and I can't wait!

This seems suitable... been a long time, indeed!

The Blackville Ice Patrol .... (river update 4/18/2015)

The boys are given' 'er at the Den, managing the ice flow as best they can under brutal conditions .. It's a tough job but someone's got to do it!
