Another ugly bomber....

A couple more in blue and I'll be pretty much hanging up the bomber hooks for the season... in the mean time here's an ugly white with orange:

A spun deerhair dryfly called a bomber - used to fish for Atlantic Salmon

  1. Nice bomber Howie. Which river will you end the season on? If the rain ever comes...Cains is where I would be.

    Cheers...Josh

  2. Thanks a bunch, Josh! I appreciate your kind words =)
I will definitely be spending some quality time on the Cains as it is so close to the Den and I have a score to settle with big hookbill down at 'Buttermilk'. I will also most likely spend some time on the Little Southwest and the Northwest. Last year my last day was spent on the Little Southwest with my good buddy Paul and I hope to do the same this year. I got to tail a beautiful 18lb hen for him on Oct 14th - that guy is a machine! =)
    Come on rain!
